If you are searching for a Lagos Life APK or a Lagos Life app download, here is the short answer: there is no official Lagos Life app. The game runs in your web browser. Any “Lagos Life APK” you find online did not come from the developer.
This guide explains where to play safely, why fake APKs are risky, and how to get an app-like icon on your phone without downloading anything. Details are correct as of early October 2026.

Is there a Lagos Life app?
No. Lagos Life is a free, Sims-style browser game set in a virtual Lagos. It launched on 1 October 2026 and, as Techpoint Africa reported, it needs no download.
The independent Lagos Life Guide also confirms there is no App Store or Google Play version. You play it by opening a web address in Chrome, Safari or any modern browser.
That matters because the game became huge very fast. When a game goes viral, scammers create fake “apps” with the same name to catch people searching for a download.
The official addresses
As of early October 2026, the game loads at these two addresses, as reported by Techpoint Africa and listed by independent guides:
- lagoslife.app
- lagoslife.eliysites.com
Type the address yourself, or use a bookmark. Be careful with links shared in WhatsApp groups, comments or DMs. Look-alike domains with small spelling changes are a common trick.
Why fake APKs are dangerous
An APK is an Android app installation file. When you install one from outside the Google Play Store, your phone’s normal safety checks are bypassed. That is why fake APKs are a favourite tool for criminals.
A fake “Lagos Life” APK could:
- Install malware that slows your phone, shows unwanted ads or runs in the background.
- Steal logins by showing fake sign-in screens for your email, social media or banking apps.
- Read your messages, including SMS one-time passwords used by banks.
- Ask for dangerous permissions, such as access to your contacts, camera or accessibility settings.
Because the real game does not need an app, there is no good reason to install any Lagos Life APK. If someone sends you one, delete it.
How to add Lagos Life to your home screen safely
You can still get a one-tap icon on your phone. Independent guides note the game can be added to your home screen as a web app, so it opens full screen like a normal app. Nothing is downloaded from outside your browser.
On Android (Chrome)
- Open Chrome and type one of the official addresses above.
- Tap the three-dot menu in the top right corner.
- Tap Add to Home screen (on some phones it says Install app).
- Confirm. A Lagos Life icon will appear on your home screen.
On iPhone (Safari)
- Open Safari and type one of the official addresses above.
- Tap the Share button (the square with an arrow pointing up).
- Scroll down and tap Add to Home Screen.
- Tap Add. The icon will appear with your other apps.
Exact menu names can vary slightly between phone models and browser versions.
